The beam is very bright but kinda unstable it sometimes changes brigthness. The quality the laser itself is a little bad but ok :)

An excellent price for a perfectly acceptable laser pointer:
- lights matches coloured black easily from at least ten centimetres away (with new, good quality batteries), and pops balloons (with a black dot on) immediately.
- gives out a clear green beam during the night, and the kaleidoscope head produces a pleasant effect on all surfaces.
(However, it is certainly not a good idea to use this device for pointing during presentations as the beam is too powerful - a 10mW laser is the maximum power laser pointer that I would use, and a 5mW would most certainly be sufficient for a standard, indoor presentation.)
Pros:Great price, powerful beam, fun kaleidoscope-style head.
Cons:None.

Lots of bang for the buck.

Just got my laser today, shipping took a bit over 2 weeks but it was worth the wait.
This laser is pretty powerful, it lights matches if you color them black and will make any flammable dark colored object begin to smoke within a second or so, will burn through garbage bags & melt dark plastic. It will light a firework fuse and black powder within a few inches... however it takes about 10 seconds for it to ignite.
I am not impressed with the dot size of the laser at a distance, from about 100 meters away the dot size is about the size of a basket ball.
This laser is NOT a toy, I really would recommend not giving it to anyone under 18... Eye protection is a MUST HAVE, be extremely careful where you shine this because it will reflect off of anything shiny.
Pros:Cheap, powerful, and fun
Cons:dot size, battery life, construction, needs to come with eye protection.
